About an hour: a conversation about your concerns, a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays if needed, a cleaning when appropriate, and a clear plan with costs explained.

Photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of medications, and any recent X-rays from a previous dentist (we can request them for you).

Call us as soon as you know. We ask for 24 hours' notice where possible so the time can be offered to another patient.

Yes. We see families and are happy to schedule children and parents back-to-back.

Most PPO plans let you see any licensed dentist; your benefits may simply be slightly different. We verify exactly what your plan pays before you commit to anything.

Severe or worsening toothache, a knocked-out or badly broken tooth, facial or gum swelling, bleeding that will not stop, or a lost crown or filling that hurts. When in doubt, call — we will tell you honestly whether it can wait.

Usually, yes. We hold time every day for emergencies, and walk-ins are welcome during office hours. Calling first, as early as you can, lets us hold a time for you.

Hold it by the crown, rinse gently, place it back in the socket or keep it in milk, and call immediately. The best chance to save it is within the first hour.

For uncontrolled bleeding, swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or a suspected broken jaw, yes. For everything else, a dentist can treat the cause; an ER usually can only manage the pain.

The emergency exam and X-ray is a set fee we quote on the phone. Treatment costs are explained before we start, and most PPO plans cover emergency exams.

Yes. We offer nitrous oxide sedation, often called laughing gas, to help anxious patients relax. You breathe it through a small nose mask, it takes effect within a few minutes and it wears off shortly after the mask comes off. Dr. Wahi will confirm it is suitable for you first. We also use thorough numbing and a slow pace. Tell us when you book — it changes how we plan your visit.
